LED Candle Facebook Competition - Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter is Seddon & Davison, 1–3 The Grove Promenade, Ilkley, LS29 8AF, and 8 Westgate House, Albert Street, Harrogate, HG1 1JX.

2. Eligibility

• Open to UK residents aged 18 and over.

• Employees, contractors, and anyone professionally connected with Seddon & Davison are excluded.

3. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

• Like the official competition post on the Seddon & Davison Facebook page.

• Comment with the colour of LED candle they would choose.

• Tag at least one friend.

• Bonus entries: Each additional tagged friend (in separate comments) counts as an extra entry.

No purchase necessary. Internet access and a valid Facebook account are required.

4. Promotion Period

The giveaway opens when the Facebook post is published and closes on Friday 10th October 2025 at 23:59. Entries submitted after this date will not be counted.

5. Prize

The prize is a LED Candle Set worth approximately £80–£100, including:

• 3 x LED pillar candles (sizes: 7.5 × 10 cm, 7.5 × 12 cm, or 7.5 × 15 cm) — from the Deluxe or Unique range

• 1 pack of 2 LED dinner candles (2.2 × 24 cm)

• 1 pack of 2 LED tea lights (4 × 5 cm)

Colour options:

• Pillar & Dinner Candles – cream, sand, mocca, rose, olive green, saffron, mulberry, Salvie Green, heather, or dust blue.

• Tea Lights – cream, sand, rose, or mulberry.

Colours and sizes subject to availability at the time of fulfilment. No cash alternative. Prize is non-transferable.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

• All valid entries (including bonus entries) will be entered into a random draw.
• One winner will be selected at random after the closing date.
• The winner will be notified via Facebook Messenger within 5 days of the competition closing.
• The winner must confirm how they wish to receive their prize (collection or delivery) within 3 days of being contacted. If they do not respond in time, Seddon & Davison reserves the right to select another winner.

7. Winner Announcement

The winner’s name will be announced on the Seddon & Davison Facebook page and contacted via Facebook. By entering, participants agree that their name [First name and first letter of their surname only] may be shared publicly on Seddon & Davison’s marketing channels (including Facebook, website, and email newsletter) for the purposes of announcing the winner.

8. Prize Collection

The prize can be collected in-store from either:

• Seddon & Davison, 1–3 The Grove Promenade, Ilkley, LS29 8AF

• Seddon & Davison, 8 Westgate House, Albert Street, Harrogate, HG1 1JX

Alternatively, the winner can request free UK delivery arranged by Seddon & Davison.

Winners should collect within 30 days of notification. UK delivery may be arranged at the discretion of Seddon & Davison.

Personal data will be used solely for administering this competition, unless the entrant opts in to marketing communications. See our Privacy Policy.

10. Fair Usage

Entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, or breach Facebook’s terms will be disqualified.

11. Changes & Cancellation

Seddon & Davison reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel this giveaway if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
