Harrogate, Here We Come – Our New Flagship Store To Open August 2025
We’re excited to share that Seddon and Davison will open a new flagship store in Harrogate this August – a big step forward for our Yorkshire-based family business.
Founded by Kara Seddon and Mark Davison, our independent home and lifestyle brand is known for relaxed interiors in a modern rustic style with subtle touches of luxe, alongside a carefully chosen collection of homeware and gifts.
Harrogate will become our largest and most ambitious space to date – bringing together everything we love under one roof.

The new store will showcase our full collection, including:
- Cushions, throws and soft furnishings
- Tableware and glassware
- Candles, diffusers and home fragrances
- Lighting and furniture
- Faux foliage and plants
- Art, photography, and greetings cards

Our own wildlife-inspired homeware, designed by Mark and based on his original photography, will also feature prominently – alongside a selection of his photographic prints available to buy in-store.
As always, customers will be able to earn and redeem rewards through our popular loyalty scheme, both in-store and online.
Why We Chose Harrogate for Our New Homeware Store
“We’re thrilled to be opening in Harrogate,” said co-founder Kara Seddon.
“The space gives us room to grow – not just in what we offer, but in how we continue to deliver a personal, independent shopping experience on the high street.”
“Harrogate has a strong sense of community, an appreciation for independent retail, and it’s somewhere I’ve always loved to visit,” she added.
Harrogate is known as a vibrant shopping destination. Our new store be on Albert Street in the Central Quarter of Town – making it easy to visit whether you're in town for a day out or simply popping by.
The new store follows the success of our Ilkley shop, opened in 2023, and our original Settle store, opened in 2021 – both of which have helped build a loyal customer base across Yorkshire and beyond.
A Fond Farewell to Settle - For Now
As part of this transition, our Settle store will move to reduced hours from July, opening Thursday to Sunday, before closing fully in August.
“Settle is where our story began,” Kara said. “We renovated the building ourselves and opened our first shop there. We’ve been so proud to be part of the local community and we’ll be genuinely sad to close the doors – but we look forward to welcoming our lovely Settle customers to Ilkley and Harrogate.”
What’s Next for Seddon and Davison
Our Ilkley store will remain open as usual, continuing to offer our full range of interiors, gifts, and homeware.
With over 2000 square feet of retail space, Harrogate will give us more room to grow – and create an inspiring shopping experience.
“It also means we’ll have a separate photography studio and space to develop new homeware collections,” said co-founder and photographer Mark Davison.
“I’m already planning to capture new wildlife and landscape imagery to launch later this year.”
