With our new shop now open and keeping us very busy, we won't be exhibiting at as many shows this year... that said, we are really looking forward to having our own stand at the Game Fair in Warwickshire this July. 

We exhibited here a couple of years ago and it really is a super event to visit - for people passionate about countryside pursuits, and the Great British Countryside in all its glory.

We will update you later this year once we know which stand we'll be at - as well as what we'll be bringing along from our collection of wildlife inspired home and lifestyle products.

We are delighted to have opened our first shop  - in the lovely market town of Settle, surrounded by the Yorkshire Dales countryside. 

The shop has been transformed from its former use as a cafe - with lovely stonework revealed, and original slate flooring now reinstated.  

Now filled with our own brand of wildlife inspired homewares and gifts, alongside other brands that we love and admire, including beautiful ceramics, British made glass lamps, high quality faux botanicals, luxurious merino blankets and throws, and other gorgeous products to fill your home with, or treat friends and family.

New additions to our British made kitchen and dining collection - super luxurious double oven gloves, and stylish aprons (just in time for barbecue season!)

We're so pleased with these new products - featuring our popular highland cow, hare, pheasant, red squirrel and stag designs. 

The aprons feature a coloured pocket on a  simple, stylish black background - so perfect for men and women - in the kitchen or by the barbecue (fingers crossed for a good summer!)

The double oven gloves have a thick black towelling reverse, central loop for hanging them easily, and our signature black damask label.

As with all of our Seddon and Davison textiles, both the oven gloves and aprons are British made, of excellent quality and made with 100% luxury cotton. 

For those of you looking for ideas for Mother's Day gifts this year we have put together a selection of our favourites on the website.

To be honest, there were so many lovely things we could have added to this page... so please do browse the rest of the website too. We are reliably informed there are lots of Mums (and aunties, and grandmas, and sisters, you get the idea) out there that absolutely love our stuff!

The selection gives you a flavour of what's really popular as gifts for Mother's Day - from a fine bone china mug from our own wildlife collection to artisan candles made in the Outer Hebrides in Scotland.  Our range of wash bags featuring British wildlife together with luxurious, organic hand and body creams from Siabann also make a perfect present. 

We're also really excited about the new range of ceramics that we have on the website - from a beautiful hand dipped jug in a gorgeous blue and green colour to a striking charcoal inca patterned bowl.

With the nights still very chilly one of our Abraham Moon lambswool throws, or a rarebreed sheepskin rug might just be perfect for Mums too.

We're incredibly proud to be a part of Made in UK Day 2022 - not only producing our own range of British Made home and lifestyle products but also working with numerous other independent brands across the United Kingdom who share our passion for "British Made" too.

The membership organisation, Make it British, surveyed 1282 UK consumers and 280 businesses that manufacture in the UK, to assess the current demand for British-made products. The survey found that 69% of consumers say that they are more likely to buy products that are made in the UK now than before Brexit and the pandemic, and that they are willing to pay up to 20% more for UK-made goods. The survey also found that 79% of shoppers prefer to buy UK-made products in-store from an independent shop or small business, rather than from big corporations or large online retailers.

Our wildlife collection of British made cushions, tea towels, wash bags and tableware is all made for us by British manufacturers - and we also stock incredibly luxurious blankets and throws by Abraham Moon, artisan candles from Scotland, and organic beauty products made here in the UK too.

With our very first shop opening next month we will continue to expand the number of British brands we work with, and ensure we can all continue to preserve UK manufacturing, boost local economies and increase employment opportunities.

A fantastic day out for Christmas shopping!

No really... It seems that summer hasn't even finished yet and we are moving on to Christmas.  But actually we'll be at two Christmas events this year with the first starting on November 1st so we really do have to get our heads together and start some planning. 

For our customers though we just wanted to let you know so you can take advantage of any early bird offers the organisers have on.

We are so pleased to confirm that the Summer Homes and Garden Fair at Ripley Castle will be taking place from Thursday 24th June to Sunday 27th June 2021 - this will be our first event since December 2019 and we can't wait!

A perfect way to enjoy some much needed retail therapy against the backdrop of the stunning castle and gardens.

Not just any mug, Seddon and Davison's wildlife collection of mugs are fine bone china and 100% British.

Each piece is made for the company in a pottery in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire; taking a blank British made mug and using traditional silk-screen printing techniques to make the decals of the designs, which are then applied by hand by expert lithographers, before drying and being kiln fired.

As the appetite to shop locally and support local businesses grows, we’re taking part in the first-ever Made in UK Day on Tuesday 9 March 2021.
