If your Mum is a lover of the British countryside, its wildlife and birds - plus a supporter of British made products - then we may have just the thing!

We have put together a whole selection of gift boxes to choose from - featuring one of our British made mugs and/or coasters alongside specially selected items guaranteed to bring a smile on Mother's Day.

Spring, Easter, sunshine, longer evenings ... all these things to look forward to ... and we really do need something to look forward to.

With that in mind we are firmly embracing colour and the vibrant the better. Our new ochre yellow is a welcome addition to our textiles range. It is warm yet bright and looks fabulous alongside ether our pale grey or sage grey colours too. 

Delighted to see that the Yorkshire Dales National Park has been named as the best in Europe by Tripadvisor recently (and 11th in the world). 

Of course we may be a little biased living where we do but it really is the most beautiful of places and inspires so much of what you see on our website

We have lots of amazing shops, farm shops, cafes and visitor centres in Scotland that stock our range of British made homewares and gifts - and we love being a part of the Scotland Trade Fair which gives us and other small businesses like us a chance to meet potential new customers and meet up with our existing ones too.

With no face to face trade events able to take place at present, we are instead taking part in the Top Drawer On Demand event running from Monday 25th January 2021 onwards. 

From 25 - 29 January 2021 the organisers are running inspiring live content including product launches and industry leading seminar sessions.

With none of us able to go far at the moment, and lots of (let's be honest) pretty miserable weather... we decided to add some warmth to our hallway with this colour combination of blackberry, mulberry and dusky pink.   We chose these true icons of the British countryside  - the highland stag, highland cow and badger - to sit together on our bench  - all on our beautifully British made cushions. Perfect for sitting back whilst you ponder which boots to wear for your daily bit of exercise.  (No question for us - walking boots as we're in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales.)

With January looming and the dark nights not quite a thing of the past just yet, perhaps a little revamp of the kitchen might lift the spirits  - we have a beautiful collection of wildlife inspired tea towels  - all British made and on a range of heritage inspired background colours.  

For the second time in its history, the Pantone Colour Institute has chosen not one, but two colours of the year for 2021.

We already have our own take on this combination - and it's a little bit of a softer (and warmer) contrast we think.  Take a look at our mustard textiles range which we love to combine with one of our sage grey or pale grey pieces.  To really add some contrast though, the blackberry works a treat.

We are excited to be taking part in Country Living Magazine's virtual artisan pop up market this coming weekend of 6th to 8th November 2020.
